Before any payment
You see a demo of your own site, free.
Before you pay anything, I build you a demo — a real version of the site, one you open on your phone and show to whoever you like. Not a sketch and not a picture: it works. If it is not right for you, we stop there and you owe me nothing. What is free is the demo, not the finished site. If we go ahead, I take it the rest of the way — your own domain, your final text, three rounds of changes included.
The final quote
You know what it costs before you start.
Once we have settled how many pages you need, what content has to be organised and which features are required, you get a quote with a fixed price. It does not change along the way unless we decide together to extend the project.
The domain, hosting, photography, legal texts and any recurring services are presented separately, when they are needed.
What it does not include
The things the price does not cover.
- A booking or payment system
- No availability calendar and no online payment. If that is what you need, I am not the right person for the job.
- An online shop
- These are presentation websites. A shop with a cart, stock and payments is a different kind of project and I do not build one.
- Photography
- I work with the photos you have. If they are poor, I will tell you so — a good site cannot rescue bad pictures.
- Ongoing content changes
- You get the cost before I start, every time. What support a project includes is set out in its quote. If something breaks because of how I built it, I fix it free for as long as the site is up.
How it is paid
Half at the start, half when the site is live.
The project is paid in two instalments: half at the start and half when the site goes live. It is not a subscription and not a payment plan — there is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.
