Demo concept — car dealership
2026
Kronstadt Motors
Demo conceptA demo concept for a used-car dealership: twenty pages, a stock listing with a page for every car, finance and contact. Built to show what the trade could have instead of a Facebook page and a phone number.
Kronstadt Motors is an invented business. This concept was built by The Site Factory to show what a modern website for a car dealership could look like — it is not a client project and the dealership does not exist.

The concept, measured
Measured on the live demo. These describe the build — how fast it paints, how little code it ships, how many pages it has — not business results, because there is no business behind it.

Measured on the live demo with an empty cache, on a phone-sized screen throttled to a mid-range processor and mobile data, on 13 August 2026. Median of six runs. These describe the build; there is no business behind it to measure.
Why this concept exists
Car dealerships are one of the trades this studio calls, and until this concept existed every example on the site was a guesthouse. So it was built from nothing: an invented dealership in Brașov, with invented stock, to answer one question honestly — what would this look like if somebody actually designed it? Nobody commissioned it and nobody paid for it.
The design decisions
The car is the argument
Dealership sites usually open on a search form. This one opens on a photographed car filling the screen, dark and quiet, because that is what the buyer came to look at. The search is one scroll away, where somebody who already wants to browse will find it.
A page for every car
Twenty pages, and each car in stock has its own — with its own address, its own photographs and its own description. That is the part a Facebook album cannot do: a car with a page can be sent to one person, found on Google, and kept up to date without reposting.
Fast, with the interaction it needs
Unlike the guesthouse work, this one does ship JavaScript — about 6 KB, for the stock filtering, because a listing that cannot be filtered is a worse experience than a slightly heavier page. It still paints in under a second on a throttled phone. The rule is not "zero JavaScript" for its own sake; it is that nothing ships unless it earns its weight.
Want something like this?
Tell me what you need. I reply with what I would actually do and roughly what it costs.
What happens after you write
You tell me what you do
A sentence is enough. Your current site, or the fact that you have none.
I send you a demo
A real first version of your site, free, that you open on your phone. Plus the exact price.
We build the final version
Only if you like it. I take it the rest of the way, on your own domain. No obligation until then.
