Demo concept — auto service

2026

CHEIA 17

Demo concept

A demo concept for an auto service, built around the one thing that decides whether somebody books: knowing the cost before the work starts. Charcoal, orange, and a call button pinned to the bottom of the screen.

CHEIA 17 is an invented garage. This concept was built by The Site Factory to show what a modern website for an auto service could look like — it is not a client project and the garage does not exist.

The concept, measured

Why this concept exists

A garage does not lose customers on price, it loses them on suspicion — the fear of being charged for work nobody can check. Most garage websites answer that with "experiență și profesionalism", which is what every other garage says. This one answers it with the estimate, and builds the rest of the page behind that promise. Nobody commissioned it.

The design decisions

The estimate is the headline

"Știi exact ce plătești" is the first thing on the page, and the three lines under it are the mechanics of that promise: an estimate before any work, your approval on each repair, and a choice between budget and premium parts. Nothing about years in business, because a fictional garage has none to claim.

Technical, not grimy

Garage websites default to either stock photos of a smiling mechanic or a dark page covered in carbon fibre. This one takes its cues from workshop documentation instead: a faint measurement grid, charcoal, safety orange used only where something is meant to be pressed, and figures set in a monospaced face.

The call button never leaves

Somebody reading this has a car that is already making a noise. The decision is not "which garage is best", it is "who can take it this week" — so a bar with the phone number and WhatsApp stays pinned to the bottom of the screen the entire way down.

Want something like this?

Tell me what you need. I reply with what I would actually do and roughly what it costs.

What happens after you write

  1. You tell me what you do

A sentence is enough. Your current site, or the fact that you have none.

  2. I send you a demo

A real first version of your site, free, that you open on your phone. Plus the exact price.

  3. We build the final version

Only if you like it. I take it the rest of the way, on your own domain. No obligation until then.
